We check all of the above web sites to see what the forecast is.
On Sunday morning, we perform our final check by sticking our thumb outside.  
If our thumb:
- Gets wet: no racing, it's raining
- Turns white: no racing, it's snowing
- Turns blue: no racing, it's too cold
- Bends over: no racing, it's too windy
- Gets a pink/orange glow from the sunrise: RACE TIME!
